Pupil Support & Helplines

Supporting Pupils

At Hall Mead we take great pride in our ‘Family for Life’ ethos and fully understand the duty of care that we have to support the pupils in our school. This support can take any number of forms and be provided by staff at Hall Mead or by external agencies. There are times when things go wrong but there is also a wealth of support for everyone. This could include:

  • Intervention by the form tutor or senior house tutor
  • Counselling and/or mentoring
  • School Nurse
  • Education Welfare
  • Social Care
  • Advice and guidance from the Safer Schools Police Officer
  • Specific organisations who provide specialist help (see below)

The happiness and health of all members of the Hall Mead family is very important to us. Please use the links below to find more detailed guidance and support. Additionally, you can view policies relevant to pupil issues including anti-bullying, behaviour and child protection by clicking here.
